New Team Member Joins PPLA

PPLA is pleased to announce a new team member has joined the Bangladesh research team. Ushwe Wen, a community activist and leader from the Rakhaine community of Bangladesh’s border belt, has joined the project as a researcher in Kalapara sub-district. Currently serving as President of Kalapara Buddhist Temple Society, Ushwe has held several appointments at community level, including for the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Muslim Aid Bangladesh. This has entailed experience in both Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Agriculture. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team!
