“European Development Policy on the Ground” - Virtual Classrooms Report

As a core component of the Power and Politics in Land Reform Project (PPLA), supported by Erasmus+, Dublin City University (DCU), Wageningen University and Research (WUR) and University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) set out an ambitious plan to bring “findings from the field” into University classrooms in the Global North. Personnel at ULAB incorporated the views and perspectives of rarely heard voices from the field, including our research team and other local stakeholders, into one class respectively in six academic courses conducted at DCU and WUR. This included both European Union Studies and International Development curricula” to facilitate the cross-fertilisation aim of the overall project. Six virtual classroom sessions were conducted, with monitoring and evaluation carried out among instructors and students. This report summarises key findings and recommendations.
